The DNR Sparks Grant Program is a 2023 program to distribute up to $65 million for the development, renovation or redevelopment of indoor or outdoor public recreation facilities to help communities emerge from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. The funds will be dispersed in (3) different rounds. The projects must he at lease $100,000 in size with a maximum grant of $1,000,000. 

Details of the 2 applications: 

• The first project is to create a new boat launch, floating dock, fishing pier and add new playground equipment at Menominee River Park. 

• The second project is to create an ADA accessible nature trail with two river outlook platforms from an area adjacent the Arcadis property to Evergreen Court (Adjacent the Trident Property). The trail would be entirely on City Property.
